17 Top Outdoor Restaurants in the UAE: Read before you Eat!

Outdoor restaurants in UAE are actually not that hard to come by. As you can imagine, the winter months create great demand for outdoor seating and most restaurants go above and beyond to cater to our requirements.

If you’re looking for an outdoor restaurant to enjoy while this beautiful Dubai weather lasts, you’ve come to the right place. Most of these locations are in Dubai but we’re snuck in a couple of Abu Dhabi spots.

Trust us, you’ll want to add these restaurants to your outdoor dining list bucket list. It would be such a shame not to take advantage of Dubai’s beautiful weather in the winter months! Scroll for more:

Entrecôte, The Dubai Mall

When we heard Entrecôte opened up its terrace, we were probably one of the first ones there. Enjoy an evening out on the lake (literally) as you indulge in a delicious entrecôte steak and all the fries. Entrecôte should definitely make it to your list of must-try outdoor restaurants in UAE, because its food will never disappoint!

Al Nafoorah Restaurant, Emirates Towers

Nothing speaks to us like lebanese food, and with Al Nafoorah’s eventful outdoors experience – this can easily become one of your fave Dubai al fresco experiences. We’re talking delicious Lebanese food, a wide terrace and even a talented singer everyday on evenings except Saturday. A UAE outdoor restaurant like this one should not go unnoticed! This outdoor spot is also licensed so you’ll enjoy a good old glass of Arak (traditional Lebanese spirit) with your Lebanese feast.

Boardwalk, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

One of the UAE’s oldest restaurants is also one of the community’s favorites! This licensed gem has been serving up some delicious food, from its famous fish and chips to pizzas, pastas and more for a while now. With an extensive wine list to choose from and a beautiful outdoor section, you’ll have no reason to not visit this Dubai outdoor restaurant.

Katsuya By Stark, Madinat Jumeirah

One of the best outdoor places in the UAE to lunch is Katsuya. If you’re in the mood for some sushi, or just Asian food in general – you’d better visit Katsuya By Stark for lunch or even dinner. I love to unwind with a glass of wine and some sushi on their outdoor terrace on weekends. Your need to find the perfect Dubai outdoor restaurant will definitely be catered to when you set foot here!

Lakeview, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Ah, the perfect breakfast place! Enjoy a view of the golf course as you enjoy a delicious breakfast and maybe even a beer at this Dubai outdoor restaurant! Okay, maybe no beer for breakfast – but you get the point (they’re licensed). My personal favorite breakfast order here is the eggs benedict.

Carine, Emirates Golf Club

Carine is another best place to have breakfast outdoors in the winter months! Their avocado toast and eggs benefit are a must. They are also licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine, or perhaps some champagne with your breakfast too. This Dubai outdoor restaurant will not disappoint, trust me on this one!

Black Tap, Festival City

Although I’m only really fond of one burger at Black Tap, this restaurant is one of my absolute favorites to visit in Dubai. Black Tap is licensed so you can even order yourself a beer to go along with your burger. I would suggest visiting the branch at Festival City to indulge in this beautiful weather.

La Serre, Downtown Dubai

Whether you’re looking for a brekkie or brunch, you’ll enjoy La Serre’s offering outdoors. La Serre is also licensed which makes it not only a great breakfast spot, but also perfect to just hang out with friends! The space is actually packed on weekends. La Serre also made it to our list of best breakfast places in the UAE. Breakfast should definitely be your meal of your choice at La Serre!

Casamia, Meridien Hotel (Airport Road)

A great Italian restaurant to visit that may not be on people’s radar is Casamia. Located right by the Meridien on the airport road, this Italian eatery and Dubai outdoor restaurant serves up some of the best pasta, Melaneze and seafood platters. I also love that this place is licensed. Ain’t nothing like indulging in a pasta with a glass of wine!

Jones The Grocer (Dusit Thani)

We’re all familiar with Jones The Grocer! Hit up this licensed restaurant if you feel like enjoying a good old toastie with a beer. Yum, I sure am salivating as I write my review.

Samakje, The Point (Palm Jumeirah)

Don’t you just love to dine with a view? Located at The Pointe, this new Lebanese hotspot is serving up some delicious Lebanese food with an original twist in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Highlights from our experience include an original alcoholic mix of gin and arak topped with zaatar and more.

The London Project, The Palm

A great outdoor activity to indulge in this weekend may include a visit to The London Project! Overlooking JBR, The London Project guarantees an enjoyable night out. Do it right at this Dubai outdoor restaurant with fish and chips, gin and tonic and of course, outdoor seating.

Grapeskin, La Ville

Want to complement your dining experience with some great views? Grapeskin is actually one of my favorite places to visit for cheese and wine. In fact, i can’t think of any place else to visit for that. I would highly suggest an evening out on their terace. If you’re looking to eat, they also have an extensive menu. I’ve tried their sliders, they are GOOD!

The Light House, Dubai Design District (D3)

This place is packed for lunch on weekdays, and for good reason! We would suggest paying The Light House a visit for a casual lunch if you work around D3. I personally love their sharing plates concept, it makes for the perfect place to enjoy a lunch with friends. They’re also licensed so you can add a little joy to your casual lunch with a glass of wine!

Tamba Restaurant, Abu Dhabi

outdoor restaurants in UAE

Now if you want to really treat yourself to an expensive, fine dining experience, Tamba will be a real treat. This Abu Dhabi restaurant made it to our favorite Indian restaurants list by offering a menu featuring Indian inspired cuisine through dishes that combine the finest seasonal ingredients with a precise, exquisite technique and beautiful presentation. They also have a beautiful outdoor terrace that makes Tamba worth the visit during the winter months!
