It looks like Dubai has two new Hollywood residents! In a new action-packed film, Zac Efron and Jessica Alba show off their moves, which looks to be advertising Dubai as part of a new campaign.
Zac Efron and Jessica Alba have been teasing portions of a shoot in the city on social media. We assumed they were filming a real movie in the midst of a pandemic, but it turns out to be something else. Or maybe not.
They were seen dining at a local gourmet place while fending off enemies and exploring the city. It ended in them skydiving from the Burj Al Arab, in a video simulating a Hollywood style movie trailer.
We see many of Dubai’s most famous landmarks throughout the fast-paced trailer. This includes the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek, the Museum of the Future, and people riding quad bikes through the desert. The duo even strap on parachutes and jump from the Burj Al Arab’s helipad.
Efron is a well-known face in Hollywood, thanks to his roles in Disney’s “High School Musical” and “Baywatch.” Alba rose to prominence after starring in the TV show “Dark Angel,” and appeared in the “Fantastic Four”.
The Hollywood pair are the latest in a long line of celebrities to appear in Dubai’s Tourism promotional videos. Previously, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan appeared in an interactive advertisement where he explored the Spice Souq and other tourist spots. Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, and Zoe Saldana were also included in a recent Dubai Tourism campaign.
