In an announcement released by Dubai Economy, the regulator said shops and retailers could have 70 per cent of staff on duty, also up from 30 per cent. Officials also stressed the need for masks to be worn indoors and employees’ workstations to be two metres apart.

Businesses allowed to stay open include gyms, cinemas, leisure centers and more.

However, post June 14 – government offices are expected to resume work with precautionary measures to combat the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak.
